Christmas Brownie Mix in a Jar

Christmas Brownie Mix in a Jar

Brownie Mix in a Jar

This Brownie Mix in a jar makes a lovely home-made Christmas gift. All the recipient needs to do is empty the brownie mix into a large mixing bowl, add 150g melted butter and three eggs, mix well and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 12  minutes to create gorgeous, just-baked but still squidgy chocolate brownies. This mixture provides precisely enough to fill the Tala Non-Stick Brownie Tray.

If you have willing little helpers, they will love weighing out the ingredients and decorating the jar. Use brown paper tags or labels with the instructions and decorate with tinsel, Christmas wrapping paper, bells, ribbon – really anything that inspires your Yuletide creativity!

I have added macadamia nuts and dried cranberries, because they offer a festive red-and-white pop of colour, but there is nothing to stop you substituting these with chopped walnuts for a more traditional Brownie flavour.
