Chocolate and Pistachio Swirls

Enjoy your Pistachio and Chocolate Swirls! These buttery, nutty, and chocolatey treats are perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.

Equipment:

Tala Performance Baking Tray 34 x 24cm

Ingredients:

320g puff pastry

150g pistachio spread

60g dark chocolate chips

2-3 tbsp milk

Crushed pistachios (optional)

 

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6.
  2. Roll out the pastry dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the pistachio filling over the rolled out pastry with the help of a spatula then sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
  4. Roll up the pastry starting from the shorter end of the dough.
  5. Slice the dough into 12 equal swirls then transfer to a large baking tray, lined with greaseproof baking paper.
  6. Brush with some milk and sprinkle with crushed pistachios before baking for about 15 mins until puff and golden.
  7. Transfer to a wire rack to cool down.
  8. Enjoy!
