Tomato, Burrata and Balsamic Glaze Tart

Bring a taste of summer to your table with this elegant yet easy Tomato, Burrata and Balsamic Glaze Tart. Tala Performance Baking Tray

Silicone Pastry Brush 

Tala Oil Pourer 

Ingredients:  

350g puff pastry

400g rainbow cherry tomatoes 

150g cream cheese

1 big burrata cheese

Basil leaves

2/3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 

1/2 tbsp balsamic glaze

Salt and pepper to taste

Few tbsp milk

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C/gas mark 6.

2. Wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut in halves. Set aside.

3. Roll out the puff pastry onto a large baking tray.

4. With a knife score a rectangle staying 1.5 cm away from the edges then poke the puff pastry with a fork.

5. Spread the cream cheese onto the puff pastry, staying away from the edges.

6. Arrange the tomatoes.

7. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with oil and balsamic glaze. Add some fresh basil leaves.

8. Brush the edges with some milk then bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 mins.

9. Remove from the oven, add more fresh basil leaves and the burrata.

10. Serve and enjoy!
