Serves 10
Ingredients:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup caster sugar
1&1/2 cups self- raising flour 
1 teaspoon baking powder 
4 large eggs
2 ripe bananas, mashed 
1-2 tbsp matcha powder 
Equipment:
To finish 
1 banana, peeled and halved
2 tbsp caster sugar 
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the oil, eggs and mashed bananas.
3. Add flour, baking powder and sugar and mix well until combined.
4. Pour half the mixture into a loaf cake lined with a siliconised greaseproof loaf tin liner.
5. Add 1-2 tbsp of matcha powder to the remaining cake mixture than spoon it into the tin.
6. Slightly mix the 2 mixtures with a skewer trying to create a marble effect. Top with the 2 banana halves and sprinkle with some caster sugar.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 mins.
8. Let cool down a bit before serving.
