Tala Yorkshire Pudding

Nothing beats the classics, and Yorkshire puds are as old-school and glorious as it gets. This recipe gives you that perfect rise - crisp on the outside, cloud-soft in the middle - using reliable Tala bakeware to keep things simple and steady.

Serves 4 

Equipment:

Tala Yorkshire Pudding Mould

Measuring Jug 

 

Ingredients:

200ml whole milk

3 large eggs

100g plain flour

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

4 tbsp vegetable oil

 

Method 

1. Preheat the oven to 220C/200C Fan/Gas 7.

2. Pour a tbsp of oil into each hole of a 4 hole Yorkshire pudding tin. Transfer to the oven until the oil is piping hot.

3. Add the milk, flour and eggs to a measuring jug and whisk until smooth.

4. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Carefully remove the tin from the oven and pour the batter into the 4 holes of the tin. Return to the oven and bake for 25 minutes, until golden-brown and well-risen.

6. Serve with gravy while still warm.

7. Enjoy!
